Terms of Sale
Last updated: 2 June 2026
These Terms of Sale govern the paid Premium and Platinum subscriptions purchased on Cinelova. They apply to consumers within the meaning of the French Consumer Code.
1. Description of offers
The Premium and Platinum subscriptions give access to advanced features detailed on the subscription page. The characteristics and content of each offer are presented before purchase.
2. Prices
Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included. Premium: €2.99/month. Platinum: €9.99/month. The publisher reserves the right to change its prices; any change is notified in advance and applies to the following renewal.
3. Payment
Payment is made by bank card via our provider Stripe, in a secure environment. No complete card data is stored by the publisher.
4. Term and renewal
The subscription is taken out for one month and renewed by tacit agreement for successive one-month periods until cancellation. In accordance with Article L.215-1 of the Consumer Code, you are informed of the cancellation deadline electronically.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time, free of charge and without reason, from your personal area or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no pro-rata refund is due for the started period, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, you have 14 days to withdraw. However, by requesting immediate access to the digital service, you consent to its immediate performance and expressly waive your right of withdrawal for the part already performed (Art. L.221-28 13°).
7. Refunds
Any refund is processed via Stripe to the original payment method. In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the refund is made within 14 days.
8. Subscription management
You manage your subscription, invoices and payment method from the secure customer portal provided by Stripe, accessible from your account.
Partner Hosts — venue booking
The Partner Hosts module lets organizers search and book partner venues (restaurants, bars, halls, event spaces, rooftops, estates, etc.). The platform acts as a trusted intermediary between the organizer and the Partner Host; it is not a party to the hosting agreement entered into between them.
Venue verification
Every Partner Host must provide their venue's legal information (SIREN/SIRET). Until this information is verified against the official business registry, the account remains pending and the venue is not published.
Booking conditions
Each Host freely sets their booking conditions (free, with a fee, or conditional: minimum spend, set menu, privatization, etc.). These conditions are shown publicly on the venue page before any request and may be changed at any time, with no retroactive effect on already accepted bookings.
Commitment of the parties
An accepted booking is a mutual commitment. The organizer may change the date without penalty up to 24 hours before the event; beyond that, the change is no longer guaranteed. The Host undertakes to honor any confirmed booking.
Cancellations
For a paid booking, cancellation by the organizer gives no right to a refund and the Host keeps the amount. For a free booking, no financial penalty applies but the cancellation is recorded. Cancellation by the Host of an accepted booking less than 24 hours before the event entitles the organizer to a flat indemnity (€100 for a justified serious reason, €50 otherwise). Repeated cancellations may lead to restrictions, loss of visibility, or exclusion from the program.
Payments and indemnities
When the payment service is enabled, booking fees, payouts to Hosts and indemnities are handled through a payment provider (Stripe), with the platform acting as a trusted third party. Until this service is enabled, bookings are effective without online payment and flat indemnities are handled off-platform.
9. Governing law and mediation
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge or the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
