Community guidelines
Last updated: 2 June 2026
Cinelova is a public space for sharing. These guidelines set out the rules of good conduct and the moderation procedures.
1. Rules of respect
Mutual respect is the rule. The following are prohibited: harassment, hateful, racist, sexist or discriminatory speech, violent content, incitement to hatred, defamation and invasion of privacy.
2. Unlawful content
All illegal content is strictly prohibited: child sexual abuse material, advocacy of terrorism, counterfeiting, sale of illicit products, and any content contrary to law. Such content is removed and may be reported to the authorities.
3. Protection of minors
The service is restricted to adults (18 and over). Inappropriate content exposing minors is prohibited and reported. A priority reporting system is in place for any content endangering a minor.
4. Reporting
Each user can report content via the report button. Reports are reviewed and manifestly unlawful content is removed promptly.
5. Moderation
Moderation is carried out after the fact: content is not checked before publication but may be removed after reporting or detection. Graduated sanctions (warning, removal, suspension, ban) may apply. Any moderation decision may be challenged at moderation@cinelova.com.
Your safety tools
You have tools to protect yourself and keep a healthy space:
- Block a user (mutual invisibility, no more messages).
- Hide content from your feed.
- Limit your messaging to your friends (strangers must send a contact request).
- Report content or a message to moderation.
